4. Deciding on my design project

After weeks of going through my ideas, I've FINALLY decided on one.

I've got a presentation to do explaining my chosen project next week, so I've finally chosen. I can be so indecisive sometimes that having a time constraint is very helpful to me. It forces me to just get on and stop thinking about the 'what if's.

I narrowed down a topic that I feel will help push a change in how we view waste at festivals. It's a growing concern and I feel like theres a gap in the market for a product or service to help reduce it.

Camping at festivals

I've been to a few festivals in my time and I have seen first-hand the waste that's created. I always camped and was often late to leave on the Monday and would find myself walking through a sea of abandoned tents. Having a good sift through the market, I noted that cheap tents are often thought of as disposable festival tents. There have been eco friendly disposable tents made in response to this problem and I'd like to see if there's anywhere I could fit design in.
